Still reading. Truckin right along with Percy Jackson, and finally finished KWK’s stuff. I know I said when I started reading 73 that the tone was different from the previous installment, but I think that was just the effects of reading the introductory chapters that get you caught up to speed with the characters. Once I got into it, things felt more consistent.
In manga news, I finally managed to get my hands on the last few volumes of Emma, so I’ve finally completed one of the best slice of life series I’ve ever read. I honestly wish more series like that were able to come overseas, but the audience for it, though dedicated, is small.
Older brother’s off at ComicCon, and I’ve been reading panel reports from the shows I follow. Very much looking forward to fall.

Better
Some very nice things happened yesterday, which balanced out the headache I had for, literally, the entire time I was awake. First, I stopped at the library again, and found that Evil Genius had made its way back to the shelf. I took it to the desk, and they checked it in and that sucker is now officially off my card. You have no idea how much that has been bothering me these last ten or so days.
Second, my second batch of manga from 365 Days of Manga came in. No pic this time, but I got volume 1 of XS Hybrid and vols 1,2,5, and 6 of Dark Edge. Jason hit a home run this time round. I love zombies. f(-_-)f
Officially back to school as of this morning. It was a great relief I was able to get up in the morning, as all of spring break saw me sleeping in until three or four in the afternoon. I guess going to bed at seven last night helped. Even though it was a headache induced sleep. Thinking about finding something new to bake later.

Jason’s copies are in slightly better condition than mine, so I’ll be swapping them out and probably donating the extras. My library could use some urban youth gang violence! Er…wait…
By the way? It is impossible to get a cat to look at the camera when she’s supposed to.
P.S. If you absolutely have to give me more FMA, I’m in search of volumes 14+ 😉

I had me some ice cream, half choc, half vanilla, with smores chocolate shell on top.
I’d say it’s a pretty darn good day. And since I paid my Visa bill, I’ll see about getting some of them ebooks I’ve been eyeing.
Oh right, and since I’ve had a couple of questions about Dark Metro, I guess I’ll say something. As far as I can discern, Dark Metro volume 3 does not exist at this time. I get no hits on your basic search, and Tokyopop’s website is useless. Can’t find a release date or anything. Knowing TP’s situation, I’d say don’t hold your breath.
